OFFICIAL DATA (megabytes) SUBSCRIPTION FOR ALL NETWORKS (MTN, ETISALAT, Glo, AIRTEL) IN NIGERIAN. (android, BlackBerry 10, HTC, Iphone, windows,Modem, laptop etc.)

OFFICIAL DATA (megabytes) SUBSCRIPTION FOR NETWORKS IN NIGERIAN. (android, BlackBerry 10, HTC, Iphone, windows,Modem, laptop etc.)
The advancement in modern technology has brought with it so many developments, and Communication cannot be left out of it. There is no doubt that our neighbouring countries and European countries utilise the communication world with great value for their money, but this is not so with Nigeria. However, in a bid to providing more value for money, 'with regards to data' so many Network have set it to reduce the price for megabytes of data.
For example, the four basic networks has the following subcription :
Etisalat:
Etisalat can give you officially 1gig that you can use for just 1000naira. They can also give you 10gig for 10000naira or 20gig for 18000 naira which can be shared to a limited number of people. So many individuals have taken advantage of that to purchase this data and distribute to people, but because it has limited number of people they tend to buy new sim cards in order to keep up with the business. With Etisalat you will know your balance and the balance of the person that shared. To check your data balance dial *228#
Airtel
Airtel gives is android customers 2gig for 2000 naira, 4.5gig for 3500. It has a very flexible subscription. Please note that those that pay 1500 for BlackBerry subcription and use it on other device are charged two times with regards to megabytes. Which means normal 1.5gig is better than that airtel 2gig. To check the balance of the airtel dial *123*9# (bb), *123*10#, *223# (android) . They also have data sharing.
Glo
Glo gives a bonus of 30mb to its customers who recharge 200naira and above and this will last for 2days. Interestingly also Glo gives 4.5gig for just 2500 naira. For those who use Blackberry, Glo gives 3gig for just 1000 naira. And this can be used on laptop through the phone. Glo also gives for other devices 350mb for just 1000naira. To check glo balance, simply dial #122#.
MTN
MTN on the other hand has a very flexible network, when it comes to data sharing. More especially when it has to do with their small and medium enterprises. The good thing about MTN is that it can be shared to an unlimited number of people. After the purchase of Bulk data from MTN this data can be distributed to all. Because of how flexible the data is, we partnered with MTN got the Bulk data from them and is open to be distributed to all. For effective surfing of the net, cheaper Megabytes can be gotten from MTN through sharing.
Points to Note about MTN Cheaper Megabytes:
1. This megabytes can function in any device (Laptop, Modem, Iphone, BlackBerry10, android, windows, HTC etc.)
2. This subcription is in no way a cheat, it is a very legal subscription.
3. The data will be sent directly on your phone, the same way call credits is transfered to phones. This time the message will home from 131.
4. The duration of the data is one month and can be topped up at any time, whether the data is exhausted or not. Each top up extends the expiry date.
5. Most people who do this same data sharing might not tell you, but the data starts counting from the day of subscription. So please always ask for the day of subcription. To that effect we run fresh data subcription every week
6. In other to accommodate those who are not financially buoyant at the moment, but genuinely wants to surf the Internet and make payments later, we have decided to give you some megabytes from the megabytes you requested for to complete the data when you complete your payment.
7. For those who might be doubting is this possible, or is this not a kind of scam. I'm not ignorant of that fact, because so many fraud happen online every single day. In other to accommodate such individual and help their unbelieve we have decided to give them the data first after which they make their payments. All you need do is send the phone number and how many megabytes you want. After you have received the data and certify it working simply make your payments. If you are not satisfied with the data simply inform us also.
8. The MTN Night plan is ideal. Especially when you are working basically in the night. From 9pm to 6am. Though some Internet Gurus have created diverse apps to extends the usage; but we will not advice that. If you know 1.5gig is enough for you during the day, why waste 2500. Simply buy a cheaper data here.
9. We are running a very fresh subscription today. Simply call in. I bet you won't regret it.
In order to accommodate more people we have slashed the prices down, from the bulk data we get weekly. The prices for the megabytes data subcription :

1gig (1024mb) is for 1300
2gig is for 2400naira
3gig is for 3500naira
5gig is for 5500naira

Payments can be made with recharge cards, cash or bank
To subscribe simply send the phone number you want the data and the amount of data to 07038812193. You will receive a phone call immediately. After which the data will be transferred to you.
To make payments, you can send the recharge card pin that corresponds to the required data.
Or you can simply use access or Sterling bank, especially for those buying bulk data. Note recharge card payments attracts 100 naira increase in price
Please don't forget that each time you buy with us the validity is one month. This is because we run subcription daily. So your data will expire in a corresponding week next month.
Foe more information call on how to go about any of the subcription of any network at all call 07038812193 or BBM : 2AB3684E
For those who also want to start and resell to others, you can also partner with us; we can give you for 11000.
We will be running a very fresh Subcription today. Wisdom is Profitable to direct. Remember, if you don't have money at the moment we can give you data on trust that you will make payment within the week or month as the case may be.
Don't forget to share or inform you friends. Especially those you know that waste enough money just for small megabytes of data. Please try and help them out. I was once in their shoe spending over 5k monthly. Until I learnt of this, and I have not stopped passing the good news. Information is Power.
Though I know is not yet the best but with time, mobile network owners will do more to reduce the price. Please share.

Blackberry introduces new Blackberry passport

Blackberry has launched a distinctive handset featuring a square screen and a keyboard that offers both physical keys and touch-enabled gesture controls.
Source:BBC
It said work-focused users in particular should benefit from the Blackberry Passport's innovations.
Sales of the company's handsets - which are powered by its own operating system - have been in decline.
Analysts said the new device should appeal to existing Blackberry owners but might struggle to win
over others.
The Canadian company's chief operating officer said the handset's release was part of a broader turnaround strategy led by John Chen, who became chief executive in November.
"You're going to see us be very focused," Marty Beard told the BBC.
"Potentially, in the past we got a little too broad a little too aggressively.

Passport and iPhone
The Passport's unusually wide screen makes it possible to see the full width of documents in larger type than in rivals

"Our target segment is more enterprise-focused. It's the power professional. It's someone who wants to be productive.
"Those users tend to be in regulated industries like banking or healthcare or government. We know those segments really well - in a way it's getting back to the Blackberry roots."

Push and swipe

The Passport got its name because its dimensions resemble a thick version of the travel document.
It has a 4.5in (11.4cm) touchscreen with a resolution of 453 pixels per inch - higher than Apple's iPhone 6 Plus, but lower than Samsung's Galaxy Note 4.
Blackberry suggests documents are easier to edit because of the extra width provided by having a square screen, even if it is less suited for watching video.
The keyboard buttons are also touch-sensitive. This allows gesture-based shortcuts that were previously restricted to Blackberry's all-screen devices.
For example, swiping a finger quickly leftwards along the keys deletes the previous word, while sliding a thumb along them more slowly moves the cursor in the same direction.

Passport keyboard
Flicking up on the left, middle or right-hand side of the keyboard selects the word above

In addition, users can select from three anticipated words - shown near the bottom of the screen - by flicking upwards beneath the desired one. This saves having to type the text in full.
"In some cases it takes a while to learn it, because even if you're familiar with a Blackberry it's a little bit different because it's that combination of physical plus virtual," acknowledged Mr Beard.
"So there may be that learning curve in the beginning, but it's well worth it, and once people learn it they are flying."
One expert who has tested the handset supported the claim.
"It certainly made me respond more eloquently to emails rather than just triaging them with a 'Yes, no, I'll call you back or see you later'," said Shaun Collins, founder of the telecoms consultancy CCS Insight.
"However, it's going to divide opinion - it gives you the Blackberry experience on steroids. But for a broader audience it will be a curiosity."
The phone is being sold at an "introductory rate" of $599/£529/649 euros.

Sales slump

Blackberry's own figures indicate it sold about 1.6 million smartphones over the three months to June.
That compares poorly with the 6.8 million handsets it sold in the same quarter in 2013, and 13.2 million over the corresponding period in 2011.

Blackberry Passport
The Blackberry Passport can run both Blackberry 10 and Android apps

Its fortunes contrast with the wider smartphone market, which has expanded.
Having pioneered the sector, the company now accounts for only 1% of sales in the UK, according to research firm Kantar Worldpanel.
Even so, one company watcher said Blackberry still had appeal to certain organisations, even if they had not purchased its other recent releases in large numbers.
"The key markets it holds are financial services and security-oriented industries," said Martin Bradley from Strategy Analytics.
"Blackberry continues to offer the most secure end-to-end communications architecture in the mobile market, and its devices provide business users with that reassurance."

Voice commands

Other features introduced by the handset and its new operating system - Blackberry 10 OS 10.3 - include:
  • Access to the Amazon Appstore - the phone can run the 240,000 Android apps it contains. But the store lacks some popular products, including photo-sharing network Instagram, and newly released games, such as Fifa 15, both found on Google Play
  • Blackberry Blend - this allows certain tasks on the phone to be controlled by a wi-fi-connected PC or tablet that does not store the data involved, letting users take advantage of bigger screens when available
  • Blackberry Assistant - a facility that recognises voice commands and speaks back in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian
  • A 3,450 mAh battery - this is bigger than most of its rivals, and allows the Passport to promise up to 25 hours of mixed use

Blackberry Blend
Blackberry Blend allows the phone to be controlled by a larger connected device

The company has also added a new, tougher level of encryption to messages sent via its BBM messaging app to protect them from eavesdropping and manipulation.
"We've already got a lead - we're not going to sit on our laurels," said Mr Beard.
He added that Blackberry also intended to add encryption to voice calls made between its devices in the future but it was "still to be decided" if this function would come to the Passport.

GOOD NEWS: OZONE LAYER GROWING BACK

The United Nations finally has some good news about the climate. Well, sort of.

According to a report released by U.N. scientists on Wednesday, the ozone layer, which has been thinning since the late 1970's, is showing signs of recovery.

.
Recovery in the ozone layer since 1979 / NASA
Scientists say that the implementation of the U.N.'s 1987 Montreal Protocol has contributed to a statistically significant increase in the stratospheric ozone layer,  the thin layer of gas that protects the earth from U.V. rays linked with skin cancer. Thanks to the reduction of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) found in refrigerants and aerosol cans the ozone is predicted to return to 1980 levels by mid-century.

This will prevent 2 million additional cases of skin cancer a year starting in 2030.

U.N. Under-Secretary-General Achim Steiner heralded the monumental success.

The Montreal Protocol - one of the world's most successful environmental treaties - has protected the stratospheric ozone layer and avoided enhanced UV radiation reaching the earth's surface."
Chemist Mario Molina, one of the co-authors of a 1974 study predicting ozone depletion, echoed this sentiment in an interview with the Associated Press.

It's a victory for diplomacy and for science and for the fact that we were able to work together."
Okay, so it looks like a strong scientific consensus coupled with worldwide action can have an important effect on reducing negative effects on the planet, right?

Ironically, it turns out that the substances being used to replace ozone-harming CFCs are contributing to global warming, MIT scientist Susan Solomon told the AP. Greenhouse gases are repairing the ozone layer while simultaneously serving as one of the major causes of global climate change.

Fixing global climate problems is a two steps forward, one step back affair.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the sale of 2015 application forms from 15th September and it is expected to usher in the implementation of full-blown Computer Based Test (CBT) in the 2015 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

A press release signed by the registrar of JAMB, Professor Dibu Ojerinde said candidates are expected to start purchasing their forms from Monday, September 15 to Thursday, January 15, 2015.

Professor Ojerinde, who assured candidates that the board has fine-tuned arrangements with computer based test (CBT) centres to register prospective UTME candidates, prayed for a registration error and stress free exercise for candidates.

The JAMB boss recalled the discovery by the board of cases of impersonation and other malpractices usually recorded during the registration process by cyber cafes and assured that the agency has decided to regulate the registration centres to ensure that the system is malpractice free.

Candidates are to obtain their application forms at designated banks after which they are to proceed to any approved CBT centres and register for the examination at a regulated fee. There are about 300 centres all over the country and staff of the centres have been trained for this purpose.

Professor Ojerinde also informed candidates that as part of ensuring standard and quality of public examination and encouraging reading culture in line with Mr President’s reading campaign, the board has reviewed textbooks hitherto read or recommended in previous matriculation examinations to give them broader spectrum of literary appreciation, by introducing a book, “The Last Days at Forcados High School”, at a recommended price of N500.00.

Some of the designated banks from which the forms could be purchased are Zenith Bank, Skye Bank, Union Bank, First Bank and also NIPOST. The forms are to be sold at the cost of N4,500.00.

NYSC 2014 BATCH B STREAM 2 CAMPING

After much deliberation and supposed  misunderstanding on NYSC Batch B stream 2 camping, it is essential that you know this truth.
The information which says that corp members should report to camp on first is correct, but not complete.
Please note that officially camp opens on the 31st day of August against 1st of September which is the first day of the registration exercise.

From the former time table before the change, all corp members are to report to camp on the first day of September and register till the third day of September. But that is no longer the case, as announced by NYSC (www.nysc.gov.ng) and also explained here.
All corp member are to arrive camp only according to Geo political zone from 1st to 8th.
In our previous post we took time to explain explicitly what NYSC meant by there update and that still hold.
So many Stream 2 corpers have sent messages clamouring for camping. But the truth is that, the government actually meant well for you.
As a corp member you are government property, if you read through their material  you will see, you are to be treated specially with diverse privileges.
So NYSC in coalition with government decided to abridge/cut the orientation exercise.
The materials that you bought are not waste,as the orientation exercise is only about 10% of the service year. The bulk of activity lies in your primary assignment.

Just as explained in our previous posts, corp members are to arrive camp from 1st to 8th September according to their geopolitical zone.
For clarification on geopolitical zone visit:
http://information4living.blogspot.com/2014/08/understanding-nysc-2014-batch-b-stream-2.html?m=0

It is advisable to come in the evening of a day before your date of registration.

This is because from the 31st Aug to 8th September camp will be open, and no stream 2 will be sent packing for coming earlier. But they will only attend to you on your own day.So is not a bad idea to come a day before.

There will be temporary accommodation basically for  individual who registration date falls on that day.
It is not in any way advisable to go to camp on the 1st if your Geo political zone is not registering on that day.
What then is the essence of seamless exercise
The maximum day you can spend in camp is two days.
Registration lasts only for an hour
Collect your kits and head for your primary assignment.
Don't forget to come with your bank details, sort code inclusive.
Your allowance for the month of August will be completely paid.
Other information that you need will be given to you in the course of your primary assignment.
There will be redeployment especially for those posted to threatened area.
Other forms of redeployment should come with evidence

This is the resolution of NYSC through its  management .
Though many are many might not be happy with it, but is for the betterment of everyone
If any adjustment is made it will be made known to us all.

Don't forget to like the page and share to your friends also to be updated,

For batch C, are you having issues with your online?

UNDERSTANDING ATM CARD WITHDRAWAL AND N65 DEDUCTION

UNDERSTANDING ATM CARD WITHDRAWAL AND N65 DEDUCTION
The Central Bank of Nigeria has said its directive to Deposit Money Banks to re-introduce a charge, of N65 per transaction, on remote-on-us Automated Teller Machines cash withdrawals will not affect its financial inclusion campaign.
The Director, Banking and Payment System Department, CBN, Mr. Dipo Fatokun, said this on Thursday 21st
Remote-on-us ATM transactions are transactions done by a cardholder on another bank’s ATM.
Fatokun, in a statement by the CBN, explained that prior to the amendments in December 2012, it used to be N100 on any remote-on-us withdrawal.
But he said the N100 was removed then so that people would be encouraged to go to other banks’ ATMs.
He said, “But the truth is that, as we said in the circular, of the N100, N35 goes to the payment bank, which has now been completely waived. But in going to other ATMs to make withdrawals, your bank, which is the acquirer bank, incurs a cost of N65 which they pay to the switches and the owner of the ATM that you are using.
“Between 2012 and recently when the review was done, it was discovered that people have actually turned ATMs into their personally purses because nothing is charged. Somebody needs N500 or N1, 000, he will go to an ATM to withdraw, such that in a day, some people can patronise ATMs up to five times,” he said.
He said the development had led to huge cost burden for the banks that issued the cards.
This, he said, was the major reason the central bank decided that even though remote-on-us transactions would still be encouraged, a customer could go to other banks’ ATMs and withdraw up to three times and there would not be any charge.
But the customer will be charged N65 when he makes the fourth withdrawal.
“Of course, if you go to the ATM of your bank, you are free to withdraw as much as you like. So, it does not discourage financial inclusion,” Fatokun argued.
The policy takes effect from September 1, 2014.
The central bank had explained that it took the latest decision as a result of the unintended consequences on banks.
It had said the earlier arrangement had resulted in substantial cost burden incurred by banks in defraying the cost for the service.
According to the CBN, the re-introduction of the fee was also to cover the remuneration of the switches, ATM monitoring and fit-notes processing by acquiring banks.
The CBN had on Wednesday said banks might be forced to reject Automated Teller Machine transactions other than theirs if customers failed to accept the N65 ATM service charge it recently re-introduced.
However, the central bank had come under severe criticism over the reintroduction of the ATM charge last week, two years after it abolished the N100 fee per withdrawal on third-party ATMs.
The Director of Corporate Communications, CBN, Mr. Ibrahim Mu’azu, had explained that the new charge would help the banks to keep more ATMs serviceable across the country, thereby making banking more convenient for customers.

Please note that the following facts about the N65 ATM charge
1. Cash withdrawal at the ATMs of a customer’s bank is free
2. The first three transactions in a month by the customer of another bank are FREE for the card holder but PAID FOR by the issuing bank
3. The N65 charge only applies when a customer withdraws cash from another bank’s ATM. The N65
starts to apply from the 4th transaction at another banks’ ATM in a month.
4. The ATM charge is not intended to discourage financial inclusion
5. Charging of fees on interbank networks is a widely acceptable practice globally
6. The CBN will not endorse any anti-customer policy
7. ATMs are deployed to ensure that customers enjoy banking convenience.

A little illustration:
• As a Cardholder in any Nigerian Bank say (First bank), it is free every time you withdraw on a (First Bank) ATM.
• If you withdraw on another bank’s ATM it is free the first 3 times every month.
• From the 4th time in a month you withdraw from another bank’s ATM, there is a N65.00 fee.

NYSC PRESS RELEASE; DG's Abuja visit

The Vanguard on NYSC press release
ABUJA— NATIONAL Youth Service Corps, NYSC, weekend, debunked a media report that the orientation course for prospective corps members deployed to crisis-prone states has been suspended due to the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease, EVD.
The scheme urged prospective corps members to ignore the report, saying orientation course for corps members deployed to Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa, Jigawa, Yobe and Borno states was still on course.
A statement by the NYSC Director of Press and Public Relation, Mrs Olubunmi Aderibigbe, described the report as misleading, asking corps members to report to their various camps for proper documentation. The statement read:  “The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to a news report aired onAIT to the effect that the orientation course for prospective corps members deployed to Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa, Jigawa, Yobe and Borno states has been suspended due to the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease.

The Direct Words Of NYSC Director general in kubwa camp;

Our last post informed us on the DG's word in Delta camp, in Kubwa Abuja camp he advised;
Members of the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC ) deployed to the Federal Capial Territory for the service year have been told to be mindful of the information they post on social media sites , in view of the implications , especially during job recruitment exercises.

Director - General of the NYSC , Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumni , who gave the advice while addressing the corps members at the orientation camp in Kubwa , said suchinformation was being monitored by prospective employers and might be a determining factor in securing employment .“ You will soon start attending interviews at the end of your service . By the time your name is Googled during such exercise, the information on your wall will determine the outcome of the interview , ” he said .He also urged them to justify the huge resources being invested in the programme by government by reciprocating through contributing their quota to nation building and being patriotic and positive about the nation .On the spread of the Ebola disease , the NYSC helmsman assured corps members across the country of their safety and security, insisting that the disease would not disrupt the exercise as precautionary measures have been put in place to contain the spread of the disease .“ Our care for your security does not end only when you are on camp . Even in your places of primary assignment , we are keeping tabs on you . Our hope is that just as your parents released you to us completely , we are also going to release you to your parents complete at the end of the service year, ” he said .
