Sequel to the Email earlier sent to you, find some new and additional information for noting.
Recall that there shall be a screening test for all applicants for admission into the 2015/2016 academic year. The admission screening test shall comprise three parts: Part A, Part B and Part C.
PGD candidates shall participate in only Part A;
Masters candidates shall participate in Part A and Part B;
PhD candidates shall participate in Part A, Part B and Part C.
Below is some description of the Parts.
Part A
Part A shall comprise two sections
Section I: Language Aptitude Test
Section II: Analytic Aptitude Test
Question Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
Duration: 1hr 30 mins
No of Questions: 100 questions
Part B
Test in Department and/or Area of Study: The questions in this Part shall be drawn from the first degree
curriculum of the department/area of study into which the candidate is seeking admission.
Question Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
Time: 1hr
No of Questions: 50 Questions
Part C
Defence of Proposal: PhD candidates shall present and defend the Proposal submitted while completing the admission application form online.
Date of Screening Test
Part A and Part B shall take place on Wednesday, 16 September, 2015 while Part C will be on Thursday, 17 September, 2015.
Venue
All candidates shall undergo the test at the Awka Campus of the University. The specific Venues for each candidate shall be communicated subsequently.
Time of Screening Test
On 16 September, checking into the Halls shall begin at 10 a.m. Candidates are expected to be at the assigned venues at 9.30 a.m. On 17 September, the Defence shall begin at 10 a.m. at the assigned venues
Items for Checking in:
Candidates should bring the following items for checking into the Exam Halls:
1. Copy of their completed Application Form;
2. Final Letter of Invitation to the NAU SPGS Screening Test 2015
Processing Fees and Payment Schedule
The following is the schedule of fees payable by each candidate for the screening test
PhD Candidates: N7,000 (Seven thousand naira only)
PGD and Masters Candidates:N5,000 (five thousand naira only)
Dates for Payment: Tuesday, 1st September to Wednesday, 9th September, 2015
The processing fees may be paid in any Branch of Access Bank nationwide into the following Account:

NOTE: THE PROCESSING FEE MUST BE PAID BETWEEN 1ST AND 9TH SEPTEMBER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE SCREENING TEST. ONLY CANDIDATES WHOSE PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY 9TH SEPTEMBER, 2015 SHALL RECEIVE THE FINAL INVITATION FOR THE SCREENING TEST.
